Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how MissionEnable ("MissionEnable", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes information when you visit our public website, use our contact channels, or interact with features that link to this policy (the "Services"). We are committed to handling information responsibly and in line with applicable privacy laws.
This document is provided for transparency and operational purposes. It is not a substitute for legal advice. If you need a jurisdiction-specific policy (for example, for enterprise customers or a separate product), please contact us.
1. Who we are
MissionEnable operates the Services described here. For privacy questions or requests regarding this policy, contact us at hello@missionenable.com.
2. Scope
This policy applies to information processed through our marketing website and related web flows (such as contact or inquiry forms). It does not govern third-party sites we link to, partner portals operated under separate agreements, or offline engagements unless we tell you otherwise.
3. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may process the following categories of information:
- Information you provide. For example, name, email address, organization, message content, and the subject of your inquiry when you submit a contact or licensing form, or when you email us directly.
- Technical and usage data. Such as IP address, browser type and version, device type, general location derived from IP (e.g. city/region level), pages viewed, referring/exit URLs, and timestamps. This data is often collected automatically by our hosting and infrastructure providers when you request pages or assets.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 6.
We do not use the Services to knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal information (such as health information, government identifiers, or precise geolocation) beyond what you voluntarily include in a message.
4. How we use information
We use information for purposes such as:
- Operating, securing, and improving the Services;
- Responding to inquiries and evaluating potential partnerships or engagements;
- Communicating with you about your request, including follow-up by email;
- Complying with law, responding to lawful requests, and protecting rights, safety, and property;
- Measuring interest in our offerings where permitted (for example, after you opt in to analytics cookies).
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on appropriate legal bases such as performance of a contract or pre-contract steps at your request, legitimate interests (for example, securing our website and understanding aggregate usage), compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required (including for non-essential cookies as described below).
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information in the conventional sense of selling lists for money. We may share information with the following categories of recipients when needed to provide the Services:
- Service providers. Vendors that host our site, provide email delivery, database or form processing, security, or similar functions. They process information on our instructions and are contractually expected to protect it.
- Professional advisors. Such as lawyers or accountants, where subject to confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MissionEnable, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements.
6. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies
We use cookies (small text files placed on your device) and similar technologies (such as local storage) to recognize your browser, remember preferences, maintain security, and—only if you choose—support optional analytics in the future.
When you first visit, you may see a cookie banner with choices. Your selection is stored in your browser using the key missionenable.cookie-consent.v1 so we do not repeatedly ask for the same choice on return visits (unless you clear site data or we bump the consent version).
| Category | Purpose | Your choice |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Site operation, security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie preferences. | Always on (required for basic functionality). |
| Analytics (optional) | Understanding how visitors use the site in aggregate (for example, page views and funnels), if and when we enable an analytics provider. | Off unless you click "Accept all" in the banner (or as otherwise permitted by law). |
You can change your mind by clearing site data for our domain (which removes the stored consent) or by contacting us; we may provide an updated preference mechanism from time to time.
7. Contact forms and email
If you contact us through a web form, your information may be sent by email (for example, via a mailto link opened in your client) and/or stored in a database operated by a service provider such as Supabase when that integration is enabled. In those cases, the content of your message is processed to respond to you and for our legitimate business records.
8. Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Retention periods can vary based on the nature of the record (for example, marketing inquiries versus security logs). When retention ends, we delete or de-identify information where feasible.
9. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International transfers
We may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws of your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as contractual clauses approved by regulators) for transfers of personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You may also have rights under U.S. state privacy laws (for example, California) to know, delete, and opt out of certain sharing that may be considered "sale" or "sharing" under those laws.
To exercise rights, email hello@missionenable.com with a description of your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising rights afforded to you.
12. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to investigate and delete it where required.
13. Automated decision-making
We do not use the Services to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (for example, a banner on the site or an email where we have your address).
